The Counselling Hub Wales invites applications for a dynamic individual to join our growing team. You’ll play a crucial part of the Centre service, which is renowned for its commitment to quality and excellence in therapy and consultancy, you'll play a pivotal role in our continued success.
Contract. Self-employed.
Hours. 10 hours/weekly within office hours.
Hourly rate: £15.00 per hour
Term of Contract: 1 year (possibility of extention, with growth of business)
Location. Hybrid Working
The Role
In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and undertake various administrative tasks essential for the seamless operation of the centre. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of duties requiring adaptability and a proactive approach.
IKey Responsibilities.
Manage client enquiries and referral processes efficiently
Coordinate appointments using our online booking system
Maintain accurate records and manage general administration tasks
Facilitate the recruitment process for new team members
Ensure compliance with essential documentation and regulatory requirements
Support training initiatives and foster effective communication within the team
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to ongoing enhancements
Collaborate closely with the centre team to ensure operational readiness at all times
Essential Requirements.
Understanding of mental health and counselling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional organisational abilities with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in written English and grammar
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Demonstrated initiative and composure under pressure
Reliable internet connection and access to necessary equipment
Understanding and commitment to maintain confidentiality
Adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions and GDPR compliance.
Uphold professional boundaries and safeguarding protocols.
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience when working with potiential and exsisting clients who are facing emotional challenges.
Contribute positively to the supportive and collaborative culture of our organisation.
Desirable Qualifications.
Familiarity with health record management systems
Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in healthcare settings
Proficiency in blog and content writing, as well as social media management
Experience with online appointment booking
